ISABELLA LUCHI
BIO
First Place in the 2022 JTVA Vocal Competition - Tier II, Brazilian soprano Isabella Luchi received the Max Berman Prize in Voice upon graduation at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Luchi holds a Master of Music and has appeared on stages in Brazil, U.S., Austria, Mexico and Russia. In her hometown, Luchi starred two commissioned works for the Festival de Música Erudita do Espírito Santo: the lead role of Flora in André Mehmari’s "A Procura da Flor", and the Countess in “Contos de Julia” by Marcus Siqueira. Isabella has debuted in the main opera houses of São Paulo: Theatro São Pedro and Theatro Municipal, with the roles of Pepík (Janáček's “Cunning Little Vixen”) under the baton of Ira Levin, and Pastore (Verdi's “Tosca”) with maestro Roberto Minczuk. 2024 Season includes Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Serpina (La Serva Padrona), Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica), Beethoven's 9th, Fauré's Requiem, Bruckner's Te Deum and Saint-Saëns' Oratorio.
Education:
- MM in Vocal Performance at Azusa Pacific University, class of Prof. Angela Blasi (Kammersängerin - Bayerische Staatsoper).
- Professional Studies Diploma at the Cleveland Institute of Music, class of Dr. Mary Schiller.
